Steal From Work Day - April 15
Does your boss work less than you but take home a bigger paycheck? Is somebody zipping around in a private jet at your expense? If the corporation is making money at the end of the day, that means they’re not paying you the full value of your labor – that’s where corporate profit comes from! So if you need something in your workplace, take it. You earned it!

ALL OUT AGAINST THE 2010 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES
The 2010 Winter Olympics will take place in Vancouver and Whistler, on unceded Indigenous land, from February 12th to the 28th, 2010. We call on all anticapitalist, Indigenous, housing rights, labour, migrant justice, environmental, anti-war, community loving, anti poverty, civil libertarian, and anti colonial activists to come together to confront this two week circus and the oppression it represents. We are organizing towards a global anti capitalist and anti colonial convergence against the 2010 Olympic Games.

Premise 10: The culture and most of its members are insane
As I type this, leaders from the biggest industrialized nations are meeting in Copenhagen to discuss a possible treaty to diminish worldwide carbon emissions. As reported last month, it is already known that no deal will be reached during these talks. Many scientists say time is running out and others say it's too late. Meanwhile in Canada, the forces of capitalism and industry are moving full force to extract the last bits of oil from the Alberta tar sands. The insanity of this project perfectly exemplifies Premise 10 from Derrick Jensen's "Endgame"

Canwest's Global War on Satire
Canwest Global, Canada's largest media company, has launched a War on Satire to punish the evil-doers who spoofed Canwest's Vancouver Sun newspaper. Brave Canwest is teetering on the verge of bankruptcy but will continue the fight to ensure that these fun-damentalist fanatics don't threaten its sacred freedom to monopolize media or mock its profound pro-Israel and neo-conservative bias. Find out more about Canwest's anti-satire SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation) at http://seriouslyfreespeech.ca
